McFarlane Toys Reveals Reptile (Invisible) and Sub-Zero (Ice Clone) for Mortal Kombat Klassic Line
McFarlane Toys has officially unveiled its latest additions to the popular Mortal Kombat Klassic 7-inch action figure line: Reptile (Invisible) and Sub-Zero (Ice Clone). Both figures are now live for pre-order as of May 15, 2026 at participating stockists, with an official release date of August 23, 2026, priced at $29.99 each. The two translucent variants are sure to be standout pieces for fans and collectors alike, paying homage to some of the most iconic special abilities in Mortal Kombat history.
Sub-Zero (Ice Clone) — August 23, 2026 | $29.99
Thought to have been killed in the Shaolin tournament, Sub-Zero mysteriously returns. It is believed he travelled into the outworld to again attempt to assassinate Shang Tsung, fighting his way through Shao Kahn’s tournament.
This new figure takes a bold visual approach by leaning into one of Sub-Zero’s most recognizable in-game techniques. The figure is fully translucent, inspired directly by Sub-Zero’s in-game “Ice Clone” ability, and is designed with Ultra Articulation featuring up to 22 moving parts for a full range of posing and play. It is an incredibly detailed 7-inch scale figure based on the Mortal Kombat franchise, and includes 2 alternate hands and a display base. The figure is showcased in Mortal Kombat Klassic themed window box packaging. It’s the kind of eye-catching variant treatment McFarlane has been applying across their lines, not unlike the Christopher Reeve Superman Theatrical Edition we covered earlier this year, where a strong visual hook elevates a familiar character into a must-own piece.
The Ice Clone variant had been teased earlier this year when it was displayed at the McFarlane Toys booth at the New York Toy Fair alongside other upcoming Mortal Kombat Klassic figures.

Reptile (Invisible) — August 23, 2026 | $29.99
As Shang Tsung’s personal protector, the elusive Reptile lurks in the shadows, stopping all those who would do his master harm. His human form is believed to disguise a horrid reptilian creature whose race was thought to be extinct millions of years ago.
Like its Ice Clone counterpart, the Reptile (Invisible) figure leans into a beloved in-game ability — Reptile’s classic power of invisibility from the original Mortal Kombat arcade era. The figure is incredibly detailed at 7-inch scale, designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing, includes 2 alternate hands and a base, and is showcased in Mortal Kombat Klassic themed window box packaging.
Invisible Reptile was among the figures shown at the McFarlane Toys booth at the 2026 New York Toy Fair, alongside Johnny Cage, Ermac, Jade, and Noob Saibot. If you’ve been keeping up with McFarlane’s recent pre-order announcements — like the Supergirl (2026 Movie) 7-Inch Figure and the Supergirl Deluxe Gold Label with Krypto — you’ll notice the company is moving quickly across multiple licenses right now, and the Mortal Kombat Klassic line is no exception

A Growing Mortal Kombat Klassic Roster
At $29.99 each and dropping on August 23, 2026, both the Sub-Zero (Ice Clone) and Reptile (Invisible) are competitively priced for the quality and detail McFarlane consistently delivers. With the roster growing rapidly and translucent variants proving highly sought after by collectors, these two figures are ones to pre-order sooner rather than later.
These two releases continue McFarlane’s strong momentum with the Mortal Kombat Klassic line. The line has already brought the arcade classic world of Mortal Kombat to life with fighters like Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion, each with arcade-inspired packaging to keep the nostalgia alive for collectors and fans. Ermac was also recently announced for the line, with pre-orders live for $29.99 and a late May 2026 release window.
